Semester Class of 2025 - We're halfway there!

The semester-long Improvisation course is already halfway through — and what a beautiful journey it has been so far. Reaching this point is always special: it's when the initial enthusiasm intersects with the first major challenges and begins to reveal, more clearly, the true work of the improviser.
Not everything has been easy. Along the way, doubts, insecurities, high expectations, and many worries arise. The fear of failure, the desire to do well, the anxiety of living up to the group's expectations or even one's own critical gaze. All of this appears—and it's part of the process. Improvising is also about learning to deal with this internal noise and to keep going, even when it's there.
What's most beautiful to watch is how this group has faced these challenges: with generosity, attentive listening, and a profoundly positive and welcoming spirit. They've created a safe space where making mistakes isn't a problem, but a gateway to something new. Where each person is supported at their own pace and encouraged to take a few more risks in each class.
Despite the anxiety, despite the doubts, the steps are becoming increasingly larger. There is more confidence in the body, in words, in silence. More openness to the game, to the other, to the present moment. Little by little, the freedom of improvisation ceases to be a distant idea and begins to be felt—still fragile, still under construction, but increasingly real.
We're halfway there, but already a long way from the starting point. And if this group continues with the same dedication, curiosity, and mutual support, the remaining path promises to be even richer, more surprising, and transformative. 💛
